JM BAR OUTFITTERS
MONTANA TRAIL RIDES NEAR MISSOULA, MONTANA
We are located on Rock Creek, in the John Long Mountain range, in the Lolo National Forest. Here, trout fishermen test their fly casting skill in the blue ribbon trout stream that flows through the beautiful valley. There is abundant wildlife in the surrounding mountains including elk, white tail & mule deer, moose, bear, mountain lion, bobcat and a large bighorn sheep population.
In summer, we welcome families, friends, and groups to experience horseback riding in the beautiful Rock Creek Valley of Montana. Located just a short drive from Missoula, Montana, we offer trail rides and pack trips from June through early October.
See Montana through between the ears of one of our gentle trail horses.
The courtesy and friendship of your family defies definition. In all my years of hunting, which total more than forty, I have never come across a more perfect family or a more perfect environment. During my hunt, I never felt like a customer; I felt like a friend. As a businessman myself, I can imagine no greater compliment. As promised, it was the hunt of a lifetime.
We had such a great time riding last Saturday!! We definitely created a great memory for our family! Thanks!

Hey Jeff! Want to drop you a sincere and warm THANK YOU!!! for a great hunting experience. I feel I received the total package with you and your crew! This kind of hunt was one I had on my bucket list for many years. The packing in with the horses, camping in a wilderness area in a wall tent, awesome food, the great feeling of a successful hunt and packing it out with mules. But mostly appreciated was the way you and your crew treated us!! You all deserve a BIG pat on the back!!! I cant say enough about all of you!! I had a great time and looking forward to a hunt in the future. Thanks again and good hunting!!
Phenomenal trail rides every time we visit … Thanks to Cowboy Jeff my son knows how to put a cowboy hat on properly, too! “Girlie bow in the back”!
